GEN7 Artist- Michelle Joly

Michelle Joly - Artist

 Michelle Joly is a multi - instrumentalist. She is a graduate of Grant MacEwan’s Vocal Jazz Performance and obtained her diploma in Music Merchandise. She is well known across Canada and graced many stages such as the Terry Fox Theatre, The Commodore and Orpheum Theatre as the lead singer in a Gospel Choir. Michelle has performed at the

She is well known across Canada and graced many stages such as the Terry Fox Theatre, The Commodore and Orpheum Theatre as the lead singer in a Gospel Choir. Michelle has performed at the Juno Awards (2018) backing up Grammy winner Daniel Ceasar and has won many awards for her music. This year her song “Cover Me” is featured in a Prime Video film. For the last 6 years, Michelle has been performing overseas on cruise ships as a featured soloist and lead for Adele tribute “The Music of Adele.”
Michelle is currently teaching at Long & McQuade Music in Edmonton

Drawing inspiration from ancestral roots and the guidance of elders, YNG Bear’s music and messages honor the past while empowering the future. YNG Bear is part of the GEN7Path movement, using their platform to support mental wellness, cultural revitalization, and awareness campaigns like the Break the Chain Tour, which focuses on fentanyl awareness and Indigenous healing.
